Yes, with enough income or money you could get a retirement visa and live in Japan.
2 :
You'll need a shit load of money, I mean really rich, not just well off. One question, who do you think is going to look after you in your old age or if you become ill?
3 :
No. You can't buy your way into Japan.
4 :
unless you have the proper visa, no you can't and to get a visa in japan, either school, work, or spouse visa. only way to retire i would say is get married to a japanese national.
5 :
Simple answer, no. Not going to happen.

Have a new baby and want to buy a web cam, and use it to talk to my family, but I live in Japan. Help

Have a new baby and want to buy a web cam, and use it to talk to my family, but I live in Japan. Help?
Was wondering if anyone could tell me what`s important to look for when buying and if it`s even possible to connect between Japan and America. I`d like audio and video if possible so my parents can see and hear their new granddaughter. Thanks!

just need a webcam compatible with your computer, probably connect via usb port...as long as you have internet access you can send pictures/video to the states.
2 :
hi buy a web camera, and connect it to your PC, and everything will be set up. it will be with sound
3 :
well its evern better that you live in japan because its better there. well some webcams dont have mics but some that do have is relly not very good so try to test the mic capabilities on how far you have to speak and how clear it will be. and ofcourse its possible to connect from jp. to u.s try to use some instant messengers like skype, yahoo mesennger, msn, icq ect ect.
4 :
get a cam and hook it up and you can use it with yahoo messenger or skye has excellent cam quality but messenger will work as long as you both use the same one.
5 :
Congrats on the baby! With a standard webcam, you can easily talk to anyone around the world with messanger programs like Yahoo or AOL Instant Messenger, even Windows Messenger. They come with an audio/video feature. Your grandparents will need to install the same messenger that you will use, though. When buying, I suggest a 4x megapixel or higher webcam for the highest quality. Logitech or Creative have great, quality webcams for a medium amount of money. Microsoft also has very good cameras. Browse one to find one that fits you and your needs!

If you can connect your computer to a website in America you can definitely use a web cam. I have not really shopped for a web cam but I would think they come in different resolutions. The higher the better the picture but then it might slow down the video if your computer or the computer receiving the video because of the amount of information being sent. I don't know if all web cams have sound. If the camera itself doesn't it would just mean you have to add an external microphone. Some digital cameras and digital camcorders have the ability to be a web cam as well.

u really dont need anything just make sure that u like to eat fish and sushi... and rice

well you will need to get some papers to live there. and also i would bring a TON of cash befor you go. you should learn some of the lagueg and no you dont need to love sea food. they have chicken and salads and pizza. so yea. also you might want to know WERE you are going to live and maybe have a place to go when you get there. ( a online friend who lives there that you trust or maybe rent an apartment befor you leave the uk. sorry i cant help more.
3 :
You need to be Japanese. Immigration laws are EXTREMELY tough there. You will need to be sponsored by a company - if they will even take you in. Japanese companies will hire their own people over a foreigner almost all the time.
4 :
Chopsticks. Can't for those.

You usually need working or student visa to live in Japan. For working visa, you have to get a job offer from a Japanese company. But you can't look for a job in Japan without a visa. So you need it before you enter Japan. For student visa, you have to be admitted to a Japanese college. You need to pay tuition and living cost for 4 years. It could be about $80,000. If you want to become a Japanese citizen, you have to keep living in Japan for more than 5 years without a pause. Then, you will be eligible to apply for citizenship. But you need more like stable income, sufficient reason, Japanese language skill and so on if you want your application to be accepted. You can apply for Permanent Residence of Japan under the same condition. And this is relatively easier than citizenship.

The easiest way to get to Japan is after you finish university, apply to teach English. You can do this either through the JET scheme (government sponsored programme for people teaching in the school system) or for a language school. You'll probably need to go through a large teaching company (i.e. hired from the UK) to get your first job. You don't need any other qualification than a university degree (3 years England/Wales, 4 years Scotland). So long as you're not an idiot and can wear a suit, you should be able to find work if you're determined. Once you're in Japan, and you learn Japanese, other work can become available, if you have something to offer. Studying at a university would be more challenging; you'd need to learn Japanese before starting your studies. They're also very expensive unless you can get into one of the national universities. In all honesty, you'd be much better off in life with a degree from a British university; in general they're better and more highly rated internationally. The best thing you can do now is start learning Japanese. Good luck!
7 :
You can have whatever you want to have.
8 :
Get marry with Japanese citizen. It is the best way to live in there. In Japan single male over 18 yo and single female over 16 yo can get marry legally.
9 :
you need to have yourself, that is use common sense, educate yourself well, and that's about it, if you can sue common sense you can practically live anywhere in the world, and if you are educated enough you can do some job to self finance it. btw, its' a country to live. ;)
