You'd better asking about your visa to your nearest Japan Embassy. They will explain what you need for receiving visa etc.

Maybe you should ask yourself why your boyfriend doesn't want to marry you? He knows that the easiest way to get you and the child you have together to live legally with him in Japan is to marry you. IF he has legally acknowledged your child within a few weeks of its birth, your child can still be a Japanese citizen, with dual citizenship until it's 21 years old. That would make it easy for your boyfriend to have the child living with him. As for you, that could be more difficult, especially if he didn't legally recognise the child to the Japanese authorities in time. Anyway, you will need help and support from your boyfriend to get a visa, so I recommend getting him to sort it out with you. IF your boyfriend actually WANTS you both living with him, he can get advice from the right places. There is always a way. But if he does NOT want you to live with him, you would have to find a job in Japan through an agent, and then apply for a work visa for yourself & a dependant visa for the child. That would be extremely difficult though.
